DOVER SUMMARY

DOVER, Del. (May 31, 2015) – Camry driver Clint Bowyer earned a ninth-place finish in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Dover International Speedway while a pair of Toyota drivers picked up runner-up results with Matt Kenseth finishing second in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series event and Matt Crafton taking the second-position in Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Clint Bowyer (ninth) was the top-finishing Camry driver in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Dover International Speedway in a green-white-checkered finish won by Jimmie Johnson.

Bowyer started 20th and led the field once in his Michael Waltrip Racing (MWR) No. 15 Camry and ran among the top-10 throughout the second half of the race to earn his third top-10 result of the season.

Denny Hamlin started from the pole and led the field four times for 118 laps (of 405), however his Camry made contact with Bowyer’s late in the race and Hamlin finished 21st.

Kyle Busch also ran in the top-five all afternoon before he was involved in an accident on lap 377 that ended his day early and he finished 36th.

The NSCS returns to action at Pocono Raceway on Sunday, June 7.
